I'm away from my SoCal home and in my Nevada home for the next two 2 weeks, and I took my New X-Men vol.1-3 with me to re-read.
It's amazing how much I don't remember about Vol.1 of Grant Morrison's New X-Men. Re-reading it is just as satisfying as reading it the first time. At times I see ideas from Morrison's Doom Patrol days come through as an X-Men story, no a re-hash of old Doom Patrol stories, but what if Doom Patrol continued under Morrison's writing, with a mutant twist. Even with the inconsistent art, I would tell everyone to read Grant Morrison's New X-Men
What I like about reading Comic-Books is that you can read 2 or 3 trade paperback collections in an hour or 2. Its like having a quick, but complete story, in a fraction of the time it takes to read a book. I love Comicbooks, and I love novels equally!
